The Midwest Association of Rail Shippers (MARS) last week announced its newly elected slate of 2018 officers.
They are Harry Zander of Trinity Rail, president; Tom Surma of Ingredion, first vice president; and Stefan Loeb of Watco Cos. LLC, second vice president.
Elected to the MARS Executive Committee were Luke Jones of GATX, Katie Tamisiea of Union Pacific Railroad, Kevin Zimski of Cargill, Robert Babcock of Indiana Rail Road, Chad Hartwig of Fairmount Sanitrol, Michael Kelly of FreightCar America, Matt O'Kray of Canadian Pacific, and Dave Murawski of Union Tank Car.
The elections were held at MARS' winter meeting held last month in Lombard, Illinois. The MARS annual summer meeting will be held July 16-17 in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
