Valley Metro adds Cummings, Ozlin to management team

Valley Metro late last week announced two additions to its management team.

The agency named Brad Cummings chief procurement officer and Phil Ozlin manager of information technology (IT).

Cummings is managing the operations of the contracts and procurement department. His responsibilities include planning, scheduling and monitoring of contracting and purchasing activities for Valley Metro.

Before joining Valley Metro, Cummings served as director of procurement for the Utah State Board of Education.

Meanwhile, Ozlin is providing leadership and oversight for all Valley Metro IT operations. He also coordinates leadership of internal customer base and external partner operations, agency officials said in a press release.

Prior to taking the job at Valley Metro, Ozlin was director of IT for the Zippertubing Co.
