DART expands on-demand options in northern Texas

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) last week announced it has expanded its partnership with Uber in northern Texas.
DART light-rail riders can now use the agency’s GoPass mobile application to book a shared ride through Uber’s UberPool function at designated zones, agency officials said in a press release.
The new feature enables riders to complete their first- and last-mile trips to or from DART train stations with the choice of a GoLink shuttle bus or an UberPool vehicle.
As a result of the expanded partnership with Uber, the on-demand service will now reach DART riders in Farmers Branch, Glenn Heights, Inland Port, Kleberg/Rylie, Lake Highlands, Lakewood, North Dallas, Park Cities, Legacy West, Far North Plano, North Central Plano/Chase Oaks and Rowlett.
